Mortgage Loan Underwriter  – Full Time (Beaumont,  TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include being responsible for providing support for all mortgage loan-processing activities. Receives, evaluates and reviews and underwrites all loans submitted for underwriting review and potentially approval.  Obtains and verifies necessary information and prepares feedback after each underwriting review after careful consideration of all documents that impact underwriting and closing review. Reviews flood zone certification as required. Communicates loan status to Mortgage Team. Reviews proof of insurance as required on mortgage loans. Assists or refers CU members and employees as necessary. Executes Adverse Action and dispositions files where required. Must be seasoned to understand financial laws of Mortgage Compliance.

Requirements: Candidates will have three years to five years of similar or related experience. A two year degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialist and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program. Must have a thorough understanding of mortgage loan underwriting functions, including FHA/VA and conventional lending. Knowledge of mortgage related requirements, procedures, and underwriting criteria. Knowledge of the Encompass system. Strong analytical and math skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while managing daily workflow effectively and efficiently. Must have excellent listening and communication skills. Well-organized and above average attention to detail. Must be able to operate related computer software, applications and business equipment. Strong typing abilities, ability to work independently or as a member of a team. Professionalism in appearance, dress and attitude is a must

Systems Technician – (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include providing exceptional Help Desk support to members and employees.  Interface with vendors during implementation, configuration of software & hardware, data communications & cabling, prioritizing and resolution of problems and issues using Help Desk ticket tracking system.  Computer and peripheral support: Hardware maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair. Assists in installation, support, upgrade, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, network, phone, Internet access and database systems. Assists with the development of internal procedures and documentation for systems and software applications.

Requirements:  Candidates will have one year to three years of similar or related experience. A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or  trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Teller I – Full Time (Beaumont, Silsbee, Jasper, Dayton, & Mid-County, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months cash handling experience, with prior teller experience being a plus; a high school diploma or equivalent; must know 10-key by touch and be proficient using Windows based operating systems. Strong customer service skills, in addition to a high level of detail orientation are necessary.  In addition, must have the ability to cross-sell credit union promotions and products.

Part Time Teller I (Beaumont, Vidor, & Lumberton, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.
