Payment Systems Specialist – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties processing ACH, Share Draft, Lockbox Payments, Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Transfers, Credit Card Balance Transfers, Cash Letter (electronic MICR repair) daily, through the appropriate systems channel. Performing daily settlement balancing of transactions processed through payments systems including general ledger posting. Detect and resolving errors promptly. Providing member service to Credit Union staff and members by responding to questions, assisting with inquiries, and resolving errors, discrepancies or other issues in regards to Payment Systems operations. Researching and reconciling general ledger accounts involving payment systems processes.

Requirements:  Candidates will have one year to three years of similar or related experience. A high school education or GED. Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting a team. Strong mathematical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry, including the basic processes of other Credit Union departments and branches. Excellent member servicing skills.

 

Part Time Teller I (Lumberton, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months cash handling experience, with prior teller experience being a plus; a high school diploma or equivalent; must know 10-key by touch and be proficient using Windows based operating systems. Strong customer service skills, in addition to a high level of detail orientation are necessary.  In addition, must have the ability to cross-sell credit union promotions and products.

 

Systems Specialist – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Perform daily computer functions, complete period-end processing, and produce and archive reports. Provide exceptional customer service support to Members and Employees. Interface with vendors during implementation, configuration of software & hardware, data communications & cabling, prioritizing and resolution of problems and issues using Help Desk ticket tracking system. Computer and peripheral support: Hardware maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair. Assist in installation, support, upgrade, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, network, phone, Internet access and database systems. Assist with the development of internal procedures and documentation for systems and software applications.

Requirements:  One to three years of similar or related experience. A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Branch Manager  – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include directing, developing, motivating, hiring and disciplines branch personnel. Monitors branch operating results. Maintains open line of communication with established credit union policies and procedures. Maintains open lone of communication with management to insure individual branch goals align with strategic objectives. Prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings. Underwrites consumer loans. Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organization(s), suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar group and community involvement.

Requirements:  Candidates will have three years to five years of similar or related experience. Managerial experience is a plus. At least a two year college degree or completion of specialized course of study at a business or trade school. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Ability to work in a strong, collaborative team environment with a proven track record of energizing others.

 

(2) Teller I-Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.
