Mortgage Loan Closer – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include reviewing approved mortgage loans to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing. Inputs and transmits loan closing information into designated systems for documents to be prepared for closing. Assembles documents for delivery to title company, real estate broker, or lending officer for closing. Calls borrower, real estate broker, and/or title company to request specified and required documents. Enters loan information specific to the transaction for calculation of loan interest, principal payment, escrows, and closing costs. Answers questions regarding closing requirements. Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on title abstracts, insurance forms and other required documents.

Requirements:  Candidates will have one year to three years of similar or related experience. Financial Institution experience preferred. A high school education or GED.

Payment Systems Specialist – Full Time (Beaumont,  TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing ACH, Share Draft, Lockbox Payments, Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Transfers, Credit Card Balance Transfers, Cash Letter (electronic MICR repair) daily, through the appropriate payment systems channel. Processes include handling exceptions, returns, disputes, and adjustments. Perform daily settlement balancing of transactions processed through payments systems including general ledger posting. Detect and resolve errors promptly. Provide member service to Credit Union staff and members by responding to questions, assisting with inquiries and resolving errors, discrepancies or other issues in regards to Payment Systems operations. Research and reconcile general ledger accounts involving payment system processes. 

Requirements:  Candidates will have one year to three years of similar or related experience. A high school education or GED. Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting a team. Strong mathematical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry, including the basic processes of other Credit Union departments and branches. Excellent member servicing skills. Must be able to operate related computer software and business equipment including Microsoft Office, 10-key, calculate, copier, computer and other Credit Union provided equipment.

Call Center Representative – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include responding to general inquiries regarding the credit union and its products and services. Assisting members and potential members with initiating all available deposit accounts, performs account research. Interviews members, takes loan applications and/or recommends loan alternatives. Cross-sell products and services to members as a solution to members needs. Maintain appropriate records and prepare required reports for deposit accounts and loans, including disclosures and other compliance related requirements. 

Requirements:  Candidates will have six months to two years of similar or related experience. A high school education or GED. Must have good listening and communication skills, ability to operate general office equipment, must be able to operate related computer software as provided by the credit union. Ability to general essential reports, interprets data and calculates ratios, identify acceptable manners of personal identification for telephone security. Must understand the basics of the Federal Reserve System, check clearing process and negotiable instruments and internal and external electronic ACH.

Teller I – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months cash handling experience, with prior teller experience being a plus; a high school diploma or equivalent; must know 10-key by touch and be proficient using Windows based operating systems. Strong customer service skills, in addition to a high level of detail orientation are necessary.  In addition, must have the ability to cross-sell credit union promotions and products.

Teller II – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include receiving and processing member financial transactions. Sells negotiable and miscellaneous items the credit union offers to the membership. Resolves member problems within authority. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. ATM daily maintenance. Encoding duties, inventory and maintenance of cash dispense machines. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning products and services.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months of similar or related experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of common scam and fraud prevention practices. Process an overall knowledge of the resources and services as frontline, first contact with members. Knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry, including an understanding of the Federal Reserve System, the check clearing process and the legal theory of negotiable instruments and collections. Ability to operate general office equipment. 

Part-Time Teller I (Vidor & Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.
