Payroll & Reporting Specialist – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include maintaining the HR database to include payroll, benefit, vacation, performance management attendance information, processes and prepares bi-weekly payroll; audits payroll reports to ensure accuracy for salary increases, benefit and payroll deductions, and payroll adjustments; responsible for quarter-end and year-end tax deadlines and procedures. Reconciles and processes monthly reports and invoices for all benefit plans and programs, updates reports to reflect new enrollments, terminations, leaves of absence, contribution and salary changes, etc. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and  year end deadlines, procedures, notice requirements, postings and distribution of required material; report review management; process reports for testing and compliance; verifies and provides data for other departments and calculates and verifies other departmental data requirements; participates in payroll and benefit audits. Produces annual employee benefit statements as well as other database reporting requirements. Assists with annual performance review process, enters payroll and merit increase information into payroll and performance management databases. Maintain HRIS performance management databases with current information and serves as a resource for managers regarding payroll and performance systems. Performs other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to ordering supplies, participating in meetings and on-boarding activities.

Requirements:  Candidates will have three to five years of similar or related experience. A two year college degree or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship programs. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft computer applications to include Word, Excel, etc. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate. Must be capable of operating all types of office equipment. Must have knowledge of payroll practices, IRS rules, state and federal wage and hour laws. Accounting and/or payroll experience required. Excellent attention to detail.

Teller II – Full Time (Beaumont & Silsbee, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include receiving and processing member financial transactions. Sells negotiable and miscellaneous items the credit union offers to the membership. Resolves member problems within authority. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. ATM daily maintenance. Encoding duties, inventory and maintenance of cash dispense machines. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning products and services.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months of similar or related experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of common scam and fraud prevention practices. Process an overall knowledge of the resources and services as frontline, first contact with members. Knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry, including an understanding of the Federal Reserve System, the check clearing process and the legal theory of negotiable instruments and collections. Ability to operate general office equipment.

Collector  – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties preserving the Credit Union’s assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral. Maintains accurate files and reports. Testifies at legal proceedings. Informs management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged-off loans. Files death and disability insurance for members, posts payments and monitors accounts.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least three years of similar or related experience. A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Must have above average listening, communication and negotiating skills. Ability to operate related computer software and business equipment including Microsoft Office and Outlook, and ten-key calculator. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities.

Operations Trainer – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include delivering employee orientations, on-the-job training programs and in-service activities as necessary. Assists in coordinating and scheduling training activities. Maintains records and tracks results of trainees in conjunction with training sessions through assessments and observations. Keeps management informed of training activities and of any significant problems. Assists in developing training programs and procedures; prepares audio-visual aids, training materials and workbooks. Completes required reports, records and other documentation. Attends and participates in meetings as required.

Requirements:  Candidates will have three to five years of similar or related experience. A two year college degree or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship programs. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Facilitation/Presentation skills required. Strong leadership skills. Ability to plan, develop, and implement curriculum.  Experience in utilizing concepts of adult learning principles, instructional design, and performance measurement is preferred. Previous Teller and Member Service Representative related experience preferred.

Network Specialist  – Full Time (Beaumont,  TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include providing primary support for the CU’s WAN/LAN, network, servers, voice and Internet Systems, network operations and features delivery, connectivity, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software. Support and maintain server, virtual server, mainframe, storage, conditioned power delivery, back-up (off-grid) power delivery for all branches, wide area communications, database systems, network and systems security and access controls. Assist Help Desk team as needed with computer and peripheral support, hardware maintenance upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair. Responsible for the detection, reaction to and prevention of network security breaches through best practices and effective management of these practices. Provide technical support for disaster recovery testing and maintain hardware and software at the CU’s disaster recovery site. Maintain documentation of entire network; servers, printers, routers, switches, cabling/infrastructure and software applications.

Requirements: Candidates will have three years to five years of similar or related experience. At least a two year degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program. Applicable network and data security certification required (or must be willing to obtain within one year on the job) Previous Information Systems Technology experience including networks, PCs, data communications, mainframe and PC programming, data organization, voice and video systems, data back-up, security, electrical power protection, strategic and business planning systems engineering and design. A thorough understanding of and ability to interpret regulations affecting programs within the Credit Union. In-depth knowledge of Credit Union operations, practices and procedures. Technical planning and project management skills. Strong communication skills – listening, written, verbal and presentation. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work and travel independently and use general office equipment.

Mortgage Lending Manager  – Full Time (Beaumont,  TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include maintenance and achievement of targeted real estate growth and loan quality while managing departmental effectiveness and efficiency in all operational areas. Promote a sales and service culture while motivating staff. Responsible for ensuring real estate portfolio integrity via daily management of the real estate lending functions. Proactively evaluate procedures, recognize needs and take action to ensure all real estate lending processes produce maximum results. Work to create a strong team equipped and dedicated to the goals set forth for the organization.

Promote a sales and service culture in all aspects of real estate lending. Develop and implement strategies to ensure production and service goals are achieved. Project and forecast future needs and performance. Maintain a competitive edge with a first to market mindset. Develop and maintain processes and procedures to be in compliance with changing regulations and investor guidelines. Recruit, develop, train, cross-train, coach, and motivate staff. Make hiring and termination recommendations. Ensure staff has appropriate resources to complete job functions with effectiveness and efficiency. Develop and maintain training materials. Ensure staffing remains appropriate for business needs and service level achievement. Manage internal servicing and any sub-servicing third party relationship on a daily basis to ensure members are receiving credit union worthy member service. Monitor the effectiveness of sub-servicers loan retention program. Report results to management. Manage the tracking of third party file storage, including a detailed and accurate loan package identification tracking system.

Ensure all loans adhere to credit union, investor guidelines as well as state and federal lending regulations. Complete periodic audit reviews of loan files. Identify weaknesses and take advantage of opportunities.  Identify and report trends in a timely manner. To include but not limited to HMDA and Mers reporting. Establish and communicate goals and measurement standards for production, closing, post-closing, servicing, and support staff. Recommend strategic goals and evaluate possible outcomes. Participate in marketing campaigns. Provide meaningful input in marketing strategies. Track the success of specific campaigns.

Requirements: Candidates will have five years to eight years experience working in the mortgage industry. Knowledge of Texas Real Estate Regulations and secondary market guidelines to include but not limited to, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA.

Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related field preferred but may be substituted by extensive related experience.

Self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritize workload for self and others.

Strong analytical skills and decision making ability to make lending decisions and translate guidelines.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume, work environment.

Possess a complete working knowledge of mortgage loan underwriting concepts, techniques, terminology and regulatory guidelines.

Identify needs, make recommendations, complete programming requests and testing with applicable software systems

Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with management to achieve business objectives. Proficient using Windows based operating systems.

Digital Marketing Coordinator – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities: Coordinate, develop, execute and evaluate digital marketing initiatives for the credit union. Scope of responsibility extends to the following areas: digital advertising campaigns, email marketing, social media, in branch electronic media support, MCIF programs for target marketing and ability to manage other digital and electronic platforms that are used by the credit union. Responsible for the maintenance of the company’s external website by working with managers to accommodate the specific requirements of each department. Support key business missions by developing brand awareness and generating and encouraging product adoption through various platforms.

Requirements:  Candidates will have five years of similar or related experience. An associate’s degree in a related field, or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program with a financial institution or position with similar functions and responsibilities. A significant level of trust an diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Strong knowledge of HTML and/or web development, website administration and all social media platforms. Social Media API integration programming skills. Ability to create and manage complete Email Marketing Programs, Web design, Analytics and Date Tracking and reporting and a variety of other digital technology platforms. Extensive understanding and digital advertising experience in all touch points. (Results Required) Good knowledge of Adobe Graphics Suite (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and others) or equivalent software packages. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and all MS Office programs required. Strong creative writing skills and use of proper grammar as it pertains to building content for all platforms. Previous experience in the use of MCIF program or other customer database in order to mine data and build queries. Strong knowledge of Apple, Android and other mobile device platforms. Ability to learn new technical programs quickly.

Part Time Teller I (Vidor, TX & Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months cash handling experience, with prior teller experience being a plus; a high school diploma or equivalent; must know 10-key by touch and be proficient using Windows based operating systems. Strong customer service skills, in addition to a high level of detail orientation are necessary.  In addition, must have the ability to cross-sell credit union promotions and products.
