Systems and Application Programmer – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities: Designs, codes and implements new business system capabilities to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the credit union’s operations. Identifies opportunities for improvement in current business processes and works with staff and managers to design enhancements. Designs and/or modifies electronic forms. Develops management reports and queries in support of credit union business management. Periodic help desk functions as assigned/needed.

Requirements:  Candidates will have three to five years of similar or related experience. Financial Services Industry experience preferred. A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. A high degree of attention to detail and project planning skills. Ability to think orderly, logically, and analytically and apply strong problem solving skills.  Knowledge of structured computer programming/coding languages, Adobe Professional .pdf forms, Symitar Episys PowerOn programming platform, C/C#/C++, Java, SQL, .NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.

Branch Manager I  – Full Time (Mont Belvieu,  TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include directing, developing, motivating, hiring, coaching and disciplining branch personnel; administering performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions. Champion’s new technology and trending initiatives set forth by the organization. Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and insures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions; monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures. Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organization(s), suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups and community involvement. Maintains open line of communication with management to insure individual branch goals align with organizational strategic objectives; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings. Underwrites consumer loans up to the amount assigned per credit union policy. 

Requirements: Candidates will have three years to five years of similar or related experience. A two year college degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of an extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program. In-depth knowledge of credit union operations, practices, and procedures. Strong management and leadership skills; ability to work in a strong collaborative team environment. Above average listening, communication and presentation skills. Excellent time management and organizational ability. Strong attention to detail, well organized and goal oriented. Able to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities. Professionalism in appearance, dress and attitude is a must. Must be able to operate related computer software and business equipment.

Teller I – Full Time (Beaumont, & Mid-County, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months cash handling experience, with prior teller experience being a plus; a high school diploma or equivalent; must know 10-key by touch and be proficient using Windows based operating systems. Strong customer service skills, in addition to a high level of detail orientation are necessary.  In addition, must have the ability to cross-sell credit union promotions and products.

Teller II – Full Time (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include receiving and processing member financial transactions. Sells negotiable and miscellaneous items the credit union offers to the membership. Resolves member problems within authority. Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. ATM daily maintenance. Encoding duties, inventory and maintenance of cash dispense machines. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning products and services.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months of similar or related experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of common scam and fraud prevention practices. Process an overall knowledge of the resources and services as frontline, first contact with members. Knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry, including an understanding of the Federal Reserve System, the check clearing process and the legal theory of negotiable instruments and collections. Ability to operate general office equipment.
