Business Services Representative (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities: Works closely with new and existing business members to understand their financial needs; forging trustful relationships by assisting with a wide-array of financial solutions to satisfy their saving and borrowing needs. Assists business members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within authority to resolve. Partners with other internal departments in developing new relationships through individual calling programs, scheduling appointments and following up with prospective new business relationships. Acts as liaison between business members and various departments, keeping in close contact with business members to assess any needs. Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.

Requirements:  Candidates will three years to five years of similar or related experience. A high school education or GED. Proven sales and customer service experience; business and financial acumen. Strong listening and customer service skills; skilled in making outbound calls. Ability to effectively engage with others and identify needs to enhance the business member relationship. Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to member issues. Desire to build strong relationships with teammates and other departments through collaboration. Self motivated, confident and  the ability to multitask effectively. Must be able to operate related computer software and business equipment. Professionalism in appearance, dress and attitude is a must.

Credit Analyst – (Beaumont, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include performing the initial credit analysis to determine if members’ credit requests satisfy policies and procedure guidelines, and assesses the member’s ability to re-pay the loan. Makes underwriting recommendations. Prepares and processes all documentation for credit analysis. Order loan documents. Monitors existing loan portfolio to maintain a high-quality asset base. Maintains up-to-date member files including current balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow projections and all loan documentation. Works to maintain annual renewals and performs annual review on loans. Provides support to Credit Union members and staff in explaining credit policies and procedures. Provides computer support, including data entry, in the maintenance of the loan systems. Assists in collection of past due loans.

Requirements: Candidates will have three years to five years of similar or related experience. A two year college degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school preferred. Ability to analyze business financial statements and assesses the viability of businesses. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate. Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft computer applications to include Word, Excel and Access. Ability to operate all types of office equipment including computer, copy machine, fax and telephone.

Teller I – Full Time (Beaumont, & Mid-County, TX)

Responsibilities:  Primary duties include processing monetary transactions of members (i.e. cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, saving bonds, loan payments, etc.), and managing the funds of an assigned station; delivering quality member service by greeting and responding to members promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks.

Requirements:  Candidates will have at least six months cash handling experience, with prior teller experience being a plus; a high school diploma or equivalent; must know 10-key by touch and be proficient using Windows based operating systems. Strong customer service skills, in addition to a high level of detail orientation are necessary.  In addition, must have the ability to cross-sell credit union promotions and products.
